About Lisa
Lisa Herndon is a seasoned broadcast professional with over 20 years of experience in local radio and media. She began her career in 2000 at 106.7 WJFK (now 106.7 The Fan), where she wore many hats — from serving as Executive Director of the nationally syndicated Don & Mike Show, to producing sports coverage for the Washington Redskins (now the Washington Commanders) Radio Network, and working as Operations Director. She also contributed her talent as a freelance producer and voice artist for the Redskins Broadcast Network and most recently co-hosted The WINC Wake Up Show with Barry & Lisa on 92.5 WINC.
A dedicated community advocate, Lisa has served on several boards of directors and has volunteered extensively with a number of nonprofit organizations. She is passionate about giving back and is often seen hosting community and business events throughout the region. Though no longer on the air daily, she continues to lend her voice as a freelance voiceover artist and frequently teams up with her former radio partner, Barry Lee, to announce and broadcast local parades for television and radio.
Originally from Loudoun County, Lisa studied broadcast journalism and played collegiate soccer at American University in Washington, DC. She is the proud mother of two boys, Cole and Luke, who keep her busy with their own sports and activities. When she’s not cheering them on, Lisa enjoys staying active by playing on multiple soccer teams — and unwinding with endless reruns of Bones.
